Kerry Mangold is a principal the Genesis Health practice and the Programme Director of the South to South Learning Network. She has over 14 years’ experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights work, with a strong focus on adolescent girls and young women. She has experience in developing, coordinating and managing the implementation of multi-sectoral national HIV prevention programmes, as well as in designing and conducting research, developing evidence-based policy documents, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring operational and financial compliance of project work for international donors and development partners. Kerry’s technical expertise is focused on HIV, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and key and vulnerable populations. Kerry has an academic background in business, science and arts with wide-ranging experience and exposure in the field of public health in South Africa and Southern Africa. Kerry holds a master’s in Anthropology form the University of the Witwatersrand, an honours in Microbiology from Rhodes and a postgraduate diploma in Management (Business Administration) from Wits Business School.
Ayesha Ismail is the Director of the Insight 2 Implementation offering under SSLN Her expertise is within turning evidence and research into usable projects. Ayesha has a special interest in sexual and reproductive health (SRH), and understanding how we can decrease inequities in SRH service provision and increase the quality of care. Ayesha has an honours and a master’s degree in Human Genetics, a bachelor's in Molecular and Cell Biology as well as a postgraduate diploma in Management, all from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Karabo is a Senior Project Coordinator at Genesis Analytics, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Currently, Karabo supports the South-South Learning Network which operates across 15 Countries in Africa. He has over a decade of experience in organising and coordinating workshops, conferences, and mass-volume events and meetings across South Africa and the African continent as a whole. He is passionate about Project coordination, especially in the HIV/AIDS space. Karabo has completed his B-tech degree in Business Communications from the Tshwane University of Technology, and has completed short courses in Social media marketing and Online reputation management from Shaw Academy, Effective public speaking and presentation skills from Southern Business School (SBS) as well as a Measuring and evaluation fundamentals certificate from Global Health e-Learning Centre. He has also completed an online short course in Project management.
Tonny Gaffane currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Insight 2 Implementation (i2i) offering under the SSLN initiative. i2i operates across 15 countries and is dedicated to synthesizing and contextualizing evidence to inform comprehensive HIV prevention responses. Funded by the prestigious Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, i2i represents a critical effort in addressing one of the most pressing global health challenges of our time. Armed with a Bachelor of Development Studies, Tonny boasts over five years of hands-on experience in community development, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination. His journey in the development sector has been marked by a steadfast commitment to empowering communities and fostering sustainable change.
Tsholofelo Ramosime is the Travel and Workshop Coordinator for the South to South Learning Network based in Johannesburg South Africa. Over the past 17 years, she has worked in travel management and MICE (Meetings Incentives Conferencing, and Events) for governments and corporates as a coordinator and account manager. She is a detail-orientated organizer with a passion for cultivating strong relationships. She has obtained an Alison Collage Project Management Certificate, from the Academy Of York a qualification in Business Performance Management, and from Shaw Academy a diploma in Digital Marketing.
Thomas Ofem is a Senior Technical Adviser in the Health Practice, head of the BeSci portfolio, and Regional Lead for the SSLN West and Central Africa Region. Thomas is a dedicated Public Health Professional with over 20 years of experience in public health, including designing, implementing, and evaluating Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) programs around Malaria, HIV/AIDS, sexual, reproductive health and family planning (SRHFP), maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH), as well as gender-based and sexual violence prevention. He holds a Ph.D. in Health Education and Promotion, a Master of Public Health, a Master of Science in Mass Communication, and a BSc in Medical Physiology.
Missie Oindo (BA, MCHD) - A public health and development professional serving as the SSLN Regional Lead-East Africa, with a track record in design, delivery and evaluation of initiatives focused on sustainable health and well-being of vulnerable and under-served populations in Eastern, Central, and Southern Africa. She has extensive expertise in technical assistance and coordinating multi-sectoral HIV and integrated health programming in Eastern Africa, backed by 14 years of experience.
Jenna is a Senior Associate at Genesis Analytics and is the Regional Lead for the Southern Africa component of the SSLN. She is also a member of the LEN donor coordination committee secretariat. Jenna has over a decade of experience in research, independent evaluation, and M&E across Sub-Saharan Africa with a special interest in public health initiatives focused on HIV prevention and treatment, TB, and immunisation. Jenna has a Masters degree in Programme Evaluation, an Honours degree in Psychology, and an Undergraduate degree in Psychology and Organisational Psychology. She is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Madonna Emmanuel is an associate in the Health Practice, Genesis Analytics. Madonna has a master's degree in epidemiology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and has received training from the University of Washington in leading, monitoring, and assessing global health programs. She has 9 years public health practice experience spread across monitoring and evaluation, descriptive and analytical investigations, clinical trials, capacity building, and stakeholder management, having managed projects supported by the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, and other organizations. In addition to her role as the Country Engagement Lead for Ghana and Nigeria on the South-South Learning Network, Madonna also supports the monitoring and evaluation of the programme.
Boris Gbehi is the Francophone Africa Coordinator in the Health practice. He based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Before joining Genesis, he was a medical officer in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. Beyond clinical care, Boris has managed health-related projects covering the areas of disease prevention and outbreak response. He has also worked in several national and multinational companies as an occupational health and safety manager. He is passionate about preventive medicine and the use of data for health action. Following his medical studies, Boris completed specialist degrees in Public Health and Occupational Health from the University Félix Houphouët Boigny (UFHB) in Abidjan.
Wendy is a Social and Behaviour Change , Adolescent and Youth, and learning Expert. With over 12 years experience, she has worked with NGOs, donors, National and county governments in designing, implementing community and learning projects in areas of HIV, RMNCAH mainly focusing of Preventive and promotive health. She enjoys conducting trainings in different topics of expertise and interacting with communities by employing user centered approaches such as HCD. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences ( Sociology, Social Administration) and Gender Studies) and a Masters of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management . She is a member of board for the USAID initiated County Endelevu Initiative for Kakamega County ( Kenya ) and leads a number of philanthropic activities for adolescent young people and women.
Maria Mensah is the SSLN Country Engagement Lead for Malawi and Tanzania and is based in Kenya. She plays an important role in enhancing the countries HIV prevention programmes through sharing of best practices across Africa.
Lamek is a global health professional, serving as the Country Engagement Lead for the South to South Learning Network (SSLN) in Eswatini and South Sudan. With extensive expertise in HIV program management, he plays a pivotal role in fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration among these countries and network members, contributing to the enhancement of HIV prevention programs within the network.
Noxolo Kampi is an analyst in the Health practice at Genesis Analytics. She is a Master of Epidemiology candidate in the Epidemiology and Biostatistics field at the University of Witwatersrand and holds a honours degree in Public Health. She currently serves as the Country Engagement Lead for South Africa and Zambia and spearheads the social media activities within the SSLN.
Lekoetse Mahao is an analyst in the Health practice at Genesis Analytics. She holds a master’s degree in Health Economics and an honours degree in Applied Development Economics, both form the University of the Witwatersrand. She currently serves as the Country Engagement Lead for Botswana and Mozambique and the Activity Lead within SSLN.
Tobi Adeoti is passionate about turning knowledge into action, ensuring that data and research inform health policies and programs. Growing up in Ibadan, Nigeria, he developed a strong appreciation for health rights and community, which shaped his commitment to evidence-based decision-making. With over a decade of experience, Tobi has worked across grassroots initiatives and large-scale projects, helping governments, NGOs, and communities use evidence to drive meaningful change in the healthcare sector. Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Community Development, he remains dedicated to bridging the gap between research and real-world impact He is a long-time lover of Amapiano.
Has 25 years of professional experience in the global health sector ranging from HIV to sexual and reproductive health and disability. She has held leadership roles across large scale intervention projects with key populations funded by BMGF, USAID, CIDA and the Government of India. Along with her team, she led several Technical Support projects on HIV prevention, across more than 15 countries in Africa. She has led several research projects including two RCT on reducing IPV against sex workers and school dropout among adolescent girls. She is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Lucy Maikweki, has over 20 years working with people to design sustainable and people cantered solutions to address various development challenges. Areas of expertise include development of social and behaviour change communication including demand generation for health products and services, strategy development, human cantered design, project implementation, budgeting and budget management. Lucy has led development of numerous prevention campaigns in Kenya including piloting biomedical interventions like HIV self-testing and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis programs in Kenya. She has been involved in conducting landscaping analysis to inform development of market entry strategies for some of the biomedical interventions in various countries.
Sanyukta Mathur is a public health researcher committed to evidence generation and evidence use to enhance policy and programs. My current areas of research include HIV prevention, new product introduction, gender and empowerment, multi-purpose prevention technologies, sexual and reproductive health, and digital tools for health.
Dr. Tun is a social and behavioral scientist whose research has focused on improving the lives of vulnerable and marginalized groups in Africa and Asia through her research on strategies to overcome barriers to HIV and sexual health services. She leads studies to develop community-based interventions and other innovations to increase HIV prevention (e.g., HIV self-testing, PrEP) and treatment uptake.
Ann Gottert is a socio-behavioral scientist with the Population Council. Dr. Gottert has over 15 years of experience conducting applied research to inform programs and policies related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, using advanced quantitative and qualitative methodologies. She received her PhD and MPH from UNC School of Public Health and BA from Brown University.
Mohamed Khan is the Regional Lead for the Southern Africa component of the SSLN. He also provides direct support to the Zimbabwe champion team. Holding a masters in population studies his areas of interest and experience include public health, mobile health, HIV/AIDS, quantitative and qualitative research, behavioural science, and industrial psychology. He has been with the SSLN from the start of the programme and continues to support countries in sharing and learning good HIV prevention practice.
Tamika Fellows is a biostatistician in the Health practice, focusing on quantitative data analysis and epidemiology. She is based in South Africa. She has experience in statistical data analysis, data management, study design, qualitative desktop and lab-based research, and in project management. She has been involved in a number of projects for various clients, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Department for International Development, and PATH. Most recently, she was involved in a project for the International Planned Parenthood Foundation where client exit interviews were conducted across 17 countries in Africa and Asia.
Micah Fineberg is a Senior Associate in the Genesis Analytics Health practice. On SSLN she supports the strategic communications. She is interested in behavioural science to improve health behaviours and outcomes, with her foremost work focusing on treatment adherence for both communicable and non-communicable diseases. Micah holds a master's in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the Wits Business School. She also has an honours in Human Genetics from the University of the Witwatersrand and a bachelor's in Human Physiology from the University of Pretoria.
Titus Ogello is M&E expert currently serving as the M&E lead for South to South Learning network. He has over 8 years of experience in development, strengthening and implementation of M&E systems in health and education programmes. Titus expertise include development and implementation of M&E frameworks, designing & implementing evaluations, data management, digital data collection, outcome harvesting, capacity assessment, stakeholder analysis data analysis and reporting. He has a bachelor's in Population Health from Kenyatta University.
Nokulunga Twala is an analyst in the Genesis Analytics Health practice and is based in Johannesburg. Nokulunga supports SSLN's monitoring and evaluation team, focusing on data analysis and visualisation. She has an honours and bachelor's in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. Additionally, she is an alumna of the Data Science and Analytics programme at Explore AI Academy and the ArcGIS Pro Basic programme from Esri College, South Africa.
Obakeng is a dedicated Digital Health Associate with a multidisciplinary background in industrial design, UI/UX Design, computer engineering and mathematics. His diverse expertise enables him to take a holistic approach to product design and problem-solving, ensuring that solutions are functional, user-friendly, and socially impactful. He has worked across multiple industries, designing digital products and services that span mobile applications, responsive websites, and enterprise platforms. With experience in both user-centred design and system-level thinking, Obakeng collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional teams, developers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive and impactful design solutions. Passionate about using design for social impact, he strives to create products that drive meaningful change and improve user experiences in diverse contexts.
Rediet is an analyst at Genesis Analytics, Health Practice, based in London. She supports Insight 2 Implementation offerings under SSLN and has experience in qualitative research and impact analysis in HIV prevention programs. Additionally, Rediet has four years of clinical experience in remote areas of Ethiopia, where she led outreach programs to promote maternal and child health. Rediet holds a medical degree from Addis Ababa University and a joint master’s degree in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Jerry Okal is a seasoned public health researcher specializing in research uptake and implementation across Sub-Saharan Africa. Currently associated with the Population Council in Kenya, he plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing the utilization of research findings related to critical healthcare domains. His areas of expertise encompass social determinants of health, HIV/TB, malaria, and sexual and reproductive health concerns affecting young people and key vulnerable population groups in low- and middle-income countries
Toluwani Oluwatola is a Senior Associate with the Health Practice. He has extensive experience working across various public health programs in Nigeria, focusing on areas such as social health insurance, routine immunization, and human resources for health. Before his current role, Toluwani served as a Learning Associate for a multi-year national health financing project. He also led other research on the technical efficiency and quality of care in Nigeria’s primary healthcare system. Toluwani holds a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.
Saul is a medical doctor and epidemiologist, who has worked in HIV prevention across Africa for the past two decades. He acts a senior technical advisor for SSLN, and heads up the Health team at Genesis Analytics.
Sarah has worked in public health for over 15 years. She is a health specialist with skills in designing, implementing and evaluating programmes. Her multidisciplinary experience in over 20 African countries spans qualitative and quantitative research, monitoring and evaluation, HIV prevention, and behavioural sciences. She has a particular interest in adolescent girls and young women.
